Walcher Orchards is a family-owned business, located at the foot of Mount Garfield, in the West's prime fruit growing region, the Grand Valley. Western Colorado's high altitude, and our location a stone's throw from the Colorado River, create a unique climate for growing some of America's most perfect peaches, a crop for which Palisade has been famous for more than a century.

We ship by Federal Express, directly from our farm in Palisade, the pick-of-the-orchard – the ripest, freshest varieties throughout the season, delivered anywhere in the continental United States within two days – from our trees to your friends, family, or business associates. We guarantee the largest, most colorful, sweetest peaches grown, because we ship only perfect "number-one" quality fruit.

Our secret is really fairly simple. Peaches will ripen after picking, but they won't get any sweeter. Their natural sugar content increases until they're picked, then stops. So peaches picked green for the stores never get really sweet. And that's our secret: We don't pick green peaches. We let nature ripen them on the tree.
